About This Position

Description:

Summary: This position works closely with Production, Operations, Engineering, Quality, HR, Scheduling, and Materials to support consistent onboarding, training, and employee development across the organization. Primary responsibilities include coordinating new hire onboarding, assisting with hands-on technical training, supporting mentoring and cross-training efforts, and maintaining training documentation.

This role requires a hands-on presence in the manufacturing environment and active engagement with new and existing employees to reinforce standardized work practices, job expectations, and skill development.

Duties:

· Coordinate and support onboarding for new hires across production and technical roles

· Assist new employees during their initial training period to reinforce expectations and standard work

· Provide hands-on guidance and technical support as employees learn processes, tools, and equipment

· Support mentoring and cross-training efforts to improve workforce capability and flexibility

· Assist in maintaining training records, onboarding checklists, and skills tracking

· Coordinate training activities with supervisors, production leads, and engineering

· Support development and updates to work instructions, SOPs, and training materials

· Identify training gaps and communicate needs to leadership

· Maintain workflows that support consistent and effective training execution

· Communicate directly with multiple departments across the organization

This role supports learning and development execution but does not maintain direct supervisory or managerial authority.

Requirements:

· Education and/or experience equivalent to a two-year degree

· Strong oral and written communication skills

· Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable

· Ability to explain technical information clearly and patiently

· Working knowledge of manufacturing environments and shop-floor operations

· Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and internal systems

· Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization

· Ability to work both in an office setting and on the production floor daily

· Physical capability consistent with a manufacturing environment

· Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly
