Job summary :

Works in conjunction with the physician to assure quality and continuity of care for patients. Assists and educates patients about their procedures, weight loss management, ICDs, pacemakers, cardiac catherization, PCI, and CABG. Proficient in all types of stress testing and able to read and interpret EKGs, halter monitor scanning. Coumadin dose adjustment management under the direction of the cardiologist and cardiac research. Requirements include: Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island or in another state that participates in the Nurse Licensure Compact or pending license.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an Accredited School or College of Nursing.
• Three to five years’ experience in acute or critical care nursing required.

Required Certifications, Licensure:

• Current RN licensure in State of Rhode Island.
• Valid BLS at hire and ACLS within three months of hire from American Heart Association
