Yard Supervisor

• Supervise Yard, Delivery and/or Shuttle, Drivers
• Work with other transportation managers, ensuring yard moves and departures are accurately
• Ensure safety processes and procedures are met or exceeded by inspecting equipment, logs, DVIR's, and Hours of service records.
• Be a positive self-starter that thrives working alone and in a team
• Supervise a team of yard
• Supervise and monitor performance metrics- including survey and safety
• Work with all levels of management to build a positive work environment and improve team
• Monitor C3 and Yard Move
• Performs other duties as required

• Knowledge of logistics management procedures and best practices
• Knowledge of DOT laws and regulations
• Strong problem solving and leadership skills
• 1-3 years of direct experience
• Minimum 2 years of logistics experience, Supervisor or Training experience a plus
