Tram Driver (Part-Time Year-Round) at Pelican Bay Foundation, Inc. – Naples, Florida

The schedule for this position is Tuesday through Thursday from 7:00am-2:00pm and Friday from 10:30am-5:45pm.

The Foundation manages all common areas, including two beach facilities and two private beachfront restaurants, two tennis facilities, two boardwalks, the Fitness Center and Wellness Studio, the Community Center, and approximately 90 acres of land.

What You’ll Do

• Provides tram services as assigned in a courteous and efficient manner. Assures that tram schedules are maintained, safe practices are adhered to, and members and their guests experience enjoyable rides.
• Serves as an information source on the history, characteristics, and environment of Pelican Bay as well as current/future events and activities.
• Cleans assigned tram, including initial cleaning before the beginning of a shift and periodic cleaning during the shift.

Skills & Experience

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
• Must have the ability to drive safely, both during the day and in the evening
• Must be able to sit/drive for long periods of time
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including high temperatures, intense sunlight, high humidity, wind, and rain
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds

Education

• Minimum High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• Any combination of education, training, and work experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described
