Job Summary:

We are delighted to announce that we are offering a Direct Hire Traveler Program for experienced nurses! This program offers premium rates and the chance for you to utilize your nursing skills in targeted specialties within South County Health. Experienced Emergency Services Travel RNs will commit to a 13-week float assignment, 36 hours/week.

As a Direct Hire Traveler Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary approach in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Provides comprehensive care for the life span of patients, from infants to geriatrics. Effectively delivers patient care through Nursing Process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Implementation and Evaluation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island.
  • Minimum 3 years of critical care experience
  • Valid BLS from American Safety/American Heart Association
  • Valid ACLS from American Safety/American Heart Association
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights
