Sr. R&D Manager - Ion Technologies - 720 at Quantinuum – Broomfield, Colorado

We are seeking a highly qualified Sr. R&D Manager for our Broomfield, Colorado location to manage experimental test beds focused on a diverse set of technology development and risk mitigation objectives. This role is a player-coach position, with individual technical contribution, technical leadership, and people management in roughly equal parts. As such, successful candidates will possess a broad and deep understanding of methods related to ion-based quantum computing, including high-fidelity quantum gates, state preparation and measurement (SPAM) protocols, and atomic/molecular/optical (AMO) physics. Additionally, successful candidates will have previous personnel and technical leadership experience in a related technical area.

Incentive Eligible – Range posted is inclusive of bonus target when applicable

The pay range for this role is $165,000 – $207,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate's skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role.
