ASDOH - Sterilization Technician at A T Still University of Health Sciences – Mesa, Arizona

A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) is seeking an non-exempt Sterilization Technician on the Mesa, Arizona campus. Position is responsible for the sterilization of used instruments and the checking out of clean instruments to dental students, staff and faculty. Incumbent must be comfortable with infection control procedures. The purpose of this job is to ensure Sterilization protocols/procedures are being met and performed on a daily basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete all equipment sterilization on a daily basis.
• Maintain dental equipment inventory and supply control system as needed.
• Dispense and receive dental instruments to/from faculty, staff and students
• Deliver and pick up sterilization carts from Comprehensive Care Units
• Practice proper PPE safety consistently
• General administrative duties as assigned.

• High School Graduate
• Infection Control preferred but not required
• HIPPA preferred but not required
• CPR preferred but not required
• Basic Computer Skills
• Effective Communication Skills (i.e. verbal, written, phone)
• Must be flexible and organized, able to change assignments with little direction.
• Must work well independently and in a group environment.
• Must maintain a professional attitude at all times.
