Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Accounts Receivable Manager to lead our revenue collection and cash application processes. You will be the primary owner of our NetSuite B2B workflow, ensuring that our billing is accurate, our collections are proactive, and our cash flow remains healthy.
The ideal candidate isn’t just great with numbers; they understand the nuances of payment processing (ACH/CC), automated dunning strategies, and maintaining a positive customer experience even during the collections process.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the daily AR functions within NetSuite, ensuring all invoices, credits, and payments are recorded accurately.
• Manage high-volume ACH and Credit Card transactions, including the reconciliation of merchant statements.
• Take ownership of declined transactions; investigate root causes, reach out to customers, and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Manage and optimize the Dunning Letter process to reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) while maintaining professional customer relationships.
• Ensure all cash sales are recorded correctly and that payments are applied to the appropriate aging buckets without delay.
• Generate weekly and monthly AR aging reports for leadership, highlighting risks or significant delinquent accounts.
• Continuously evaluate and refine the end-to-end billing workflow to identify bottlenecks and automate manual touchpoints
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Experience with NetSuite (preferred) or other ERP systems
• Deep understanding of ACH and Credit Card processing workflows and payment gateway integrations.
• 5 plus years in Accounts Receivable
• Ability to troubleshoot why a payment failed and identify patterns in customer declines.
• Communication: Strong "firm but fair" communication skills for managing dunning cycles and customer inquiries.
• Proficiency in Excel and other office suite products.
