About This Position

Resource Manager (Salesforce)
Location: Remote (United States)

Reporting to Delivery Leadership, our Resource Manager will support Thunder’s Delivery group and hold responsibility for resource management, forecasting accuracy, financial planning, and internal business processes in support of the Thunder’s delivery teams.

This is a critical, highly-visible role that will work closely with the operations team across various initiatives, and will make Thunder’s overall delivery and operations functions more effective and profitable as a direct impact of their focus.

Responsibilities:
  • Resource & Capacity Data Management: Maintain accurate resource profiles, roles, availability, and assignments in Thunder’s PSA (Certinia).
    • Ensure capacity data reflects real availability (PTO, holidays, transitions, role changes)
  • Bench Visibility & Reporting: Provide consistent bench reporting by role, region, and capability
    • Highlight trends, risks, and duration of bench based on defined playbook metrics
    • Ensure bench data is visible, current, and trusted across leadership
  • Demand Intake & Staffing Readiness: Ensure new opportunities and change work meet staffing readiness standards
    • Translate approved demand into staffing visibility within PSA
    • Partner with Sales and Delivery heads to ensure pipeline inputs are accurate and timely, leading to improved revenue and capacity forecasts
  • Utilization, Forecast & Operational Reporting: Produce and maintain weekly resourcing reports, including:
    • Utilization by role and region
    • Bench trends and aging
    • Support forecast accuracy by ensuring staffing plans reflect the approved scope and timing
    • Surface risks and data gaps early so leaders can take action
  • PSA Data Quality & Enablement: Own data accuracy and completeness in Certinia related to:
    • Resource roles and capacity
    • Assignments and dates
    • Availability and utilization inputs
    • Continuously improve resourcing workflows, templates, and reporting outputs
  • Subcontractor Capacity Visibility: Maintain visibility into subcontractor capacity and assignments
    • Partner with Operations on onboarding and access
    • Provide subcontractor utilization and availability data to support leadership decisions

Required Qualifications:
  • 3–5+ years in Resource Management or Capacity Planning, within a Salesforce professional services/consulting environment
  • Strong analysis and strategic problem solver who performs complex tasks and prioritizes multiple projects with excellent follow-through
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and keenly re-prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community
  • Proactive communicator
  • Proficient in G-Suite tools, Asana, Salesforce (and relevant resource management/reporting integrations), Certinia, Jira, or other PSA tools
