Houseman - Copeland Tower at Copeland Group – Metairie, Louisiana

Summary / Job Purpose

The Houseman will stock all housekeeping carts with supplies and maintain linen and other housekeeping supplies. Will strip beds, collect and remove dirty linen and support the housekeeping staff.

Responsibilities & Job Duties

• Stock all housekeeping carts prior to room attendants arriving in the morning.
• Collect soiled linen from guest rooms.
• Remove trash collected by room attendants
• Pick up clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor.
• Refill guest room amities and supplies on each floor.
• Assist room attendants with placing roll-away beds, etc.
• Respond to all guest calls in a timely friendly manner.
• Will assist with deep cleaning of guest rooms
• Deliver towels to room attendants if needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

Hours will vary. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and repetitive hand and wrist motion. Works primarily in a climate controlled setting.

Requirements

The incumbent may have to lift items up to 45 lbs.
