The General Counsel serves as the senior legal leader for Goal Solutions, overseeing all legal matters across the organization. This role partners closely with executive leadership, compliance, operations, finance, and external law firms to provide strategic, business-minded legal guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Strategy & Advisory
• Advise executive leadership on governance, risk, and strategy

Litigation & Dispute Management
• Oversee litigation and manage outside counsel

Contract & Transactional Oversight
• Review and negotiate complex agreements

Regulatory & Compliance Support
• Support regulatory inquiries and examinations

Financial & Budget Management
• Manage legal budget and spend

Leadership & Operations
• Oversee legal operations and collaboration

Essential Functions

• Draft and review legal documents
• Communicate with executives and regulators
• Manage confidential information

Minimum Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD)
• Active bar license
• 15+ years legal experience
• Litigation and contract expertise

Preferred Experience

• Financial services or regulated industry experience
• Exposure to structured finance transactions

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong legal judgment and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
