AMS Industrial LLC is seeking a motivated and field-driven Construction Management Intern who is currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management or Engineering and is eager to gain hands-on experience in industrial construction.
This is not a desk-only internship, and this field work will not be replaced by AI. Interns will split time between active industrial job sites and project coordination support. You will work alongside Project Managers, Superintendents, and field crews to gain exposure to heavy civil and mechanical construction operations across the United States. This role builds on a core interest in construction (building things) and business.
This role is ideal for a student who is already comfortable working in outdoor, physical environments and who wants real-world construction experience beyond the classroom. A long-term career in this field requires extensive travel and the ability to live in various locations throughout the U.S., and this internship provides early exposure to that lifestyle.
Who We AreAMS Industrial is a prime contractor specializing in industrial construction with heavy mechanical and civil scopes, including dams, waterways, and critical infrastructure projects. Our work includes dam gates, bulkheads/stoplogs, piping systems, valves, powerhouse mechanical systems, and complex heavy civil installationsoften under federal contracts with agencies such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Bureau of Reclamation.

We focus on technically challenging, high-impact projects that require precision, teamwork, and accountability.
