1881 Food Attendant - The Springs Resort & Spa at Wellspring Hospitality LLC – Pagosa Springs, Colorado

The Springs Resort & Spa is seeking friendly, service-driven Food Attendants to join our Food & Beverage team in beautiful Pagosa Springs, Colorado. This role plays a key part in creating positive, memorable guest experiences by serving food and beverages across resort outlets, maintaining clean and welcoming service areas, and supporting smooth day-to-day operations.

Where You’ll Make an Impact (Essential Functions)

• Greet guests warmly and provide helpful information about food and beverage offerings, pricing, and available options.
• Take guest orders and process transactions accurately using POS systems, handling cash and credit payments in accordance with resort procedures.
• Serve pre-packaged or ready-to-eat food and beverages in designated resort areas, including pools, grab-and-go outlets, and event spaces.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of food service stations, counters, and guest-facing areas in accordance with sanitation and brand standards.
• Restock, rotate, and organize food and beverage products following food safety, freshness, and temperature control guidelines.
• Assist with light food prep, packaging, setup, and breakdown of service stations as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs or low stock to supervisors.
• Support kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow during high-volume periods.
• Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
• Contribute to a welcoming, upbeat guest experience—even during busy or high-energy service periods.

Required / Preferred Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, retail, or guest-facing roles preferred but not required.
• Strong guest service mindset with a friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards (training provided as needed).
• Comfort with handling cash, credit transactions, and POS systems.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout shifts.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move items such as food products, beverages, or supplies (up to approximately 30–40 lbs, depending on assignment).
• Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures, including outdoor and poolside service areas.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members in a busy, service-oriented environment.
