Position Overview:

The IT Lead, Pricing – SAP Vistex, is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of pricing solutions across SAP SD and Vistex modules. This role serves as the primary Vistex expert, partnering with business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop functional designs, manage testing, and drive successful delivery of pricing initiatives. The IT Lead will oversee complex pricing scenarios including rebates, chargebacks, price guidance, and pricing data maintenance, while collaborating closely with cross-functional business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end functional ownership of SAP Vistex pricing processes, including requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, testing, and deployment.
  • Facilitate workshops, lead business discussions, and translate business needs into system requirements and functional designs.
  • Develop business scenario designs and guide teams through solution evaluation.
  • Conduct functional unit testing (FUT), support integration testing, UAT, and cutover activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to pricing, Vistex, rebates, and chargebacks.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for SAP Vistex, Chargebacks, and Rebate Management.
  • Design, configure, and validate pricing conditions, pricing procedures, and Vistex components.
  • Maintain accurate pricing data and optimize price guidance frameworks, simulations, and analytics.
  • Partner with SAP SD, Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and Master Data teams to assess cross-functional impacts of pricing changes.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support functional specs, enhancements, and RICEFW object testing.
  • Lead pricing-related projects and enhancements, manage deliverables, and align stakeholders across business units.
  • Communicate solution designs, risks, and impacts to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure adherence to governance, documentation standards, and IT best practices.

Expected Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP Vistex and SD Pricing, including DMP, Rebates, Chargebacks, pricing procedures, conditions, and access sequences.
  • Proven functional expertise in pricing design, configuration, data maintenance, and integration touchpoints.
  • Strong initiative-taking and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both business and technical teams.
  • Self-structured and highly organized, able to work independently in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.
  • Experience working in SAP environments, preferably S/4HANA, including Vistex design, troubleshooting, reporting, and analytics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Windows environment.

Work Location & Schedule:

  • This is a hybrid position based at our corporate office in Schaumburg, IL. The role requires working onsite three (3) days per week and remotely two (2) days per week. Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST. Flexibility outside of these hours may be required to support project demands or business needs.

Travel:

  • Up to 10%

    • Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen and background check. This requirement is especially critical for safety-sensitive roles.

    The annual base salary range for this position is $145,000 - $170,000. The actual pay will be determined based on factors such as location, experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
