Position Summary

The Food & Beverage Supervisor supports daily operations across assigned outlets by working alongside front-line team members to ensure consistent service standards, smooth service flow, and a positive guest experience. This role provides hands-on leadership through coaching, training, and on-the-floor support while partnering closely with the Food & Beverage Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support day-to-day Food & Beverage operations across assigned outlets.
Lead, coach, and support team members during service, onboarding, and ongoing training.
Help ensure service standards, cleanliness, and food safety expectations are consistently met.
Support inventory flow, par levels, and basic cost controls.
Maintain beverage controls, including cash handling and key security.
Assist guests as needed, including beverage and wine selections.
Foster teamwork, clear communication, and a steady service environment.
Support overall Food & Beverage operations as needed.

Qualifications

One or more years of supervisory or hands-on leadership experience in Food & Beverage or hospitality.
Experience leading and supporting teams through coaching, training, and daily service execution.
Basic wine knowledge or interest in supporting wine service and guest selections.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
A calm, thoughtful approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced service environment.
Professional presence and a positive attitude aligned with Sand Valley standards.
Comfort working in a floor-based role with extended periods of standing and walking.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require.
Learn2Serve certification for alcohol service, food handling, and tobacco, or ability to complete within 30 days.
