Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the production department during 3rd shift, supervising 20-30 production employees.
• Monitor and assist with machine setups, efficiency, and direct/indirect labor utilization.
• Coordinate effective machine operation and workforce deployment to meet production goals.
• Train, develop, and mentor production employees on shop practices, company policies, safety, quality, and documentation.
• Coordinate with material handling to ensure efficient flow of materials throughout the facility.
• Document and track employee attendance and vacation time.
• Perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
• Investigate, document, and report on-the-job accidents and safety incidents.
• Support Product Engineering with new product start-ups and process improvements.
• Document and escalate machine issues, downtime, and production incidents.
• Identify training needs and coordinate skill development for production personnel.
• Initiate personnel actions and conduct scheduled performance reviews.
• Review and approve weekly timecards for payroll processing.
• Maintain a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and team accountability.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment with CNC mill and lathe setup and operation.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Shift Lead or Production Supervisor preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Solid math skills to calculate and record production data.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work overnight shift: 10pm-6am, Sunday night through Thursday night, with overtime as required.
• Ability to commute to the Johnson Creek, WI area and work onsite.

Salary: $36.25-$46.25/hr DOE
