About This Position
Job Summary:
Operates cup filler machines to produce 4, and 6 oz packages of juice products, including operation of taper, box code daters and CIPs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sets up and operates equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and safe operating guidelines.
- Assures proper raw materials are available to run production in accordance with production schedule.
- Maintains a continuous supply of cups, lids and folded boxes need to run production and adequately assists in record keeping of material usage.
- Monitors materials and production to ensure quality and compliance with product specifications.
- Performs weight and vacuum checks on product.
- Performs additional product quality testing measures as deemed appropriate by the Quality Assurance Department.
- Completes associated production paperwork in a neat, accurate, and timely manner.
- Documents any downtime affiliated with equipment or personnel deficiencies.
- Accurately records production, machine efficiency or inefficiencies and machine down time to assure that the production schedule is met.
- Maintain clean and orderly work area.
- Follows instructions and responds to management or lead direction.
- Writes and speaks clearly and informatively and able to read and interpret written information.
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and completes work in timely manner.
- Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events and reacts well under pressure.
- Follows policies and procedures.
- Observes safety and security procedures and reports potentially unsafe conditions.
- Uses equipment and materials properly.
- Ensures that we are running machine at least to standard efficiency, if not get maintenance involved to solve problems.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor and complies with new policies implemented to ensure more safe and efficient production.
- Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills.
- Is consistently at work and on time and commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be capable of using hand held Warehouse Management System scanning devices.
