Warehouse Associate 2 - Shipping Coordinator at Full Circle Electronics US LLC – Elk Grove Village, Illinois

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all outbound transportation-related functions for the company. This includes scheduling shipments, coordinating freight activities, implementing logistics procedures, tracking outbound freight, and developing new logistics programs to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

This role reports directly to the Operations Warehouse Manager and requires strong organizational ability, attention to detail, effective communication, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Professionalism and consistent adherence to workplace policies and safety procedures are essential. Proficiency with computers, ERP systems, and online web interfaces is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Schedule and track inbound and outbound freight shipments.

· Manage delivery appointments for IL, CA, and TX locations.

· Oversee outbound shipping through small-package carriers and truckload/LTL carriers.

· Coordinate FCE truck schedules for IL, TX, and CA.

· Serve as the primary liaison between the company and freight carriers.

· Develop and maintain outbound freight and logistics procedures.

· Prepare and deliver custom outbound freight quotes to clients.

· Utilize the company ERP system to manage freight workflows.

· Prepare international small-package and freight documentation.

· Address internal inquiries regarding outbound freight and resolve discrepancies.

· Review and approve outbound freight invoices.

· Manage UPS/FedEx small-package box program shipments.

· Create operational reports as needed.

· Provide backup support to the Procurement team.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or a related field preferred.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to follow clear written and verbal instructions.

· Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform physical inspections.
