TITLE: SEASONAL LINEMAN

PURPOSE OF CLASSIFICATION:

The purpose of this classification is to oversee the daily operation of the airport.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Oversees the daily operation of the airport; locks and unlocks all secured facilities, answers the telephone and assists callers, provides customer service
• Monitors inventory of equipment, fuel, oil, supplies, and other items
• Collects fees for hangar rental and fuel, records credit card transactions.
• Operates equipment as required.
• Conducts fueling operations including, but not limited to, fueling aircraft, refueling fuel trucks, accepting fuel loads, fueling equipment and airport vehicles, etc.
• Performs daily fuel inventory checking and records levels
• Performs daily housekeeping duties and groundskeeping duties as assigned.
• Informs supervisor when vehicles and equipment need to be serviced.
• Conducts daily ground inspections including, but not limited to, the runway, taxiway, ramp, T-hangar area, parking lot, and safety area.
• Completes fuel inspections related to inventory and quality control as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A high school diploma or GED, one year of experience in airport operations, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

Must possess and maintain a valid Kentucky driver's license.
