Responsibilities:

• The role involves designing, programming, and updating PLC control logic using platforms such as Allen Bradley (Rockwell), Siemens, and Mitsubishi.
• Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing PLC based systems as well as associated electrical and electronic components.
• Electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts must be accurately interpreted to support effective troubleshooting and system improvements.
• The position works closely with engineering and maintenance teams to enhance automation performance and reliability.
• Tasks include conducting system testing and validation, documenting control logic, and maintaining up ? to ? date backups of all PLC software and related documentation. Support is also provided during the installation and commissioning of new machinery and control systems.
• All automation activities must be performed in adherence to established safety and quality standards.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Associates degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or related field (Bachelors preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting in an industrial environment.
• Proficiency with HMI/SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.).
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, sensors, actuators, and motor controls.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with robotics integration or motion control systems.
• Familiarity with safety PLCs and machine safety standards (e.g., ISO 13849, ANSI B11).
• Knowledge of data acquisition and industrial networking
