We're seeking an experienced OB Sonographer ready to step into a leadership role as Charge Sonographer for Austin, TX. In this role, you’ll serve as a primary point of contact for the clinic, supporting day-to-day operations while representing BB Imaging with professionalism, collaboration, and integrity.

WHO YOU ARE:

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential with an OB/GYN specialty
2+ years OB experience
Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

All duties and responsibilities of a BB Imaging Sonographer
Team Member Training: Oversee the training and development of clinical team members, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Equipment Maintenance: Direct IT tickets for equipment maintenance and ensure that all imaging equipment is properly maintained and functioning optimally.
Daily Quality Assurance: Conduct daily quality assurance checks in the clinic to ensure both client and team satisfaction with the services provided.
Back-Office Support: Provide support to the clinical team with administrative tasks and ensure smooth clinic operations.
Lead Morning Huddle: Lead the morning huddle with sonographers and technical assistants to review the upcoming clinical schedule, highlight training or development initiatives, and address any concerns.
Manage Clinical Workflow: Strategically manage the clinical workflow, including staggering lunches, relieving team members as needed, and ensuring clinic efficiency and meeting daily operational needs.
Client and Staff Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for doctors, nurses, sonographers, and scheduling staff, representing BB Imaging in a positive and professional manner.
Liaison Role: Serve as the liaison between the Director of Regional Services, People & Culture, and the clinical team, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and initiatives.
