This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a VP of Sales and Customer Success in United States.

This senior leadership role is responsible for driving commercial growth and customer success across the US market within a mission-driven EdTech environment. The VP will own end-to-end revenue performance while building and executing a scalable go-to-market strategy that expands market presence in the education sector. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, requiring active involvement in pipeline generation, deal closing, and key customer relationships. You will lead and develop a high-performing sales organization while ensuring tight alignment with marketing and customer success functions. Operating as a visible market leader, you will engage directly with education stakeholders, districts, and decision-makers to accelerate adoption and impact. This is a high-impact role focused on both immediate revenue delivery and long-term customer value creation.

Accountabilities:
  • Own and deliver full revenue targets, managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing high-value deals
  • Partner with executive leadership to define and execute US growth strategy and translate it into actionable sales plans
  • Build, lead, coach, and scale a high-performing sales team with clear performance and pipeline expectations
  • Drive direct pipeline generation through outbound activity, strategic selling, and engagement with priority education markets
  • Establish strong sales operating rhythms including forecasting, pipeline reviews, and deal inspection processes
  • Ensure disciplined CRM usage and accurate reporting to support data-driven decision-making and forecasting accuracy
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing to convert demand generation into qualified pipeline and improve campaign effectiveness
  • Work with Customer Success to support retention, expansion, and a seamless customer journey
  • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with school districts, education leaders, and government stakeholders
  • Lead strategic bids and RFQs, ensuring competitive, timely, and commercially strong proposals
  • Leverage data and market insights to improve forecasting, strategy, and performance outcomes
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in senior sales leadership roles, ideally within EdTech or education-focused markets
  • Proven track record of owning revenue targets and driving consistent sales performance through hands-on execution
  • Strong ability to build and scale sales teams in growth or expansion environments
  • Demonstrated success in designing and executing go-to-market strategies that drive new business growth
  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in pricing, negotiation, and complex deal structuring
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience coaching and developing high-performing teams
  • Data-driven mindset with strong proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and pipeline analytics
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders and external partners
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a strong execution focus
Benefits:
  • 20 days paid annual leave plus sick leave and additional wellbeing and volunteering days
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision (approximately 80% employer-covered)
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching
  • Flexible working hours and remote-friendly arrangements
  • 16 weeks fully paid parental leave
  • Up to 100 days per year working remotely from anywhere globally
  • Dedicated learning and development budget for continuous professional growth
  • Employee wellbeing support including EAP access and wellbeing apps.
