Accountabilities:
  • Define and lead the strategic direction, vision, and execution of surgical services across the enterprise
  • Oversee operational performance, ensuring efficiency, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
  • Drive standardization of clinical best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across regions
  • Manage financial performance, budgeting, workforce planning, and operational sustainability
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality frameworks
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with physicians, caregivers, and executive stakeholders
  • Identify and implement innovation opportunities in surgical technologies, processes, and care models

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree required (or in progress with completion within 3 years) in a relevant field
  • Extensive senior leadership experience in a large integrated healthcare system or hospital environment
  • Proven track record of managing complex clinical, operational, regulatory, and financial priorities
  • Strong experience leading enterprise-wide transformation and change management initiatives
  • Deep understanding of surgical services, patient safety, and healthcare delivery systems
  • Excellent strategic thinking, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in highly matrixed and cross-functional environments
  • Preferred experience in integrated delivery networks, system-level strategy, or shared services leadership
