ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Leadership & Communication
- Report directly to the Vice President of Construction with clear daily communication
- Lead and mentor Plumbing Foremen and field crews
- Conduct monthly Foremen Meetings covering safety, projects, and manpower
- Maintain strong relationships with General Contractor Superintendents
Safety Leadership
- Promote and enforce a safety‑first culture on all plumbing jobsites
- Ensure PPE use and compliance with all company and project safety requirements
- Identify and correct unsafe conditions immediately
Project Planning & Execution
- Support Plumbing Foremen with work planning, sequencing, and material take‑offs
- Interpret plumbing drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
- Review and approve plumbing material requisitions
- Coordinate with Project Managers on submittals, RFIs, schedules, startups, punch lists, and warranty items
Jobsite Oversight & Quality Control
- Conduct regular job site visits to monitor safety, quality, productivity, and schedule
- Perform QA/QC inspections and track corrective action items
- Review progress drawings and plumbing as‑builts
- Identify constructability issues and drive solutions with the project team
Labor, Productivity & Cost Control
- Review and approve timecards; ensure overtime is pre‑approved
- Review job cost reports with Foremen
- Use labor trackers and Short Interval Plans (SIP) to manage manpower and efficiency
- Provide labor forecasts to support project planning and financial performance
Training, Prefabrication & Assets
- Identify training opportunities and mentor future plumbing leaders
- Support standardized plumbing practices and documentation
- Lead plumbing prefabrication efforts with shop and field teams
- Maintain accountability for company tools, equipment, vehicles, and maintenance
- Submit accurate weekly expense reports by Monday with proper coding
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Requirements
- 7+ years of commercial plumbing construction experience, including leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, drawings, and jobsite operations
- Proven ability to lead Foremen, manage manpower, and track productivity
- Solid understanding of OSHA safety requirements
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
Preferred Certifications
- OSHA 30 (or ability to obtain)
- Journeyman or Master Plumber license (preferred)
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Supervisor or Superintendent training certifications (preferred)

Monday–Friday schedule, with availability for evenings and weekends as needed.
