PanCare of Florida is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Primary Care Physician to join our mission-driven healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered medical care to individuals and families, with a strong focus on prevention, chronic disease management, and health equity for underserved and diverse populations.
As a key clinical leader within a multidisciplinary care team, you’ll diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, support community-based health initiatives, and help drive high-quality, evidence-based care. What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations, including health histories and physical examinations
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions across the lifespan
- Develop and direct individualized treatment plans and provide patient counseling
- Prescribe medicationsin accordance withFlorida statutes and professional practice guidelines
- Perform minor in-office procedures within scope of practice
- Order, review, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic studies (labs, imaging, EKGs, etc.)in a timely manner
- Coordinate andfacilitatereferrals for specialty care and services not provided on site
- Provide preventive care services, screenings, and health education
- Supervise and mentor mid-level practitioners (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants)
- Supervise medical students and trainees as assigned
- Participate in outreach and off-site healthcare programs as directed by the Chief Medical Officer
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity and quality of care
- Maintainaccurate,timelydocumentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Adhere to UDS productivity standards and organizational performance expectations
- Participate in peer review, quality assurance, quality improvement initiatives, and provider meetings
- Comply withinfection control policies, safety programs, and emergency preparedness protocols
- Assistin the development and updating of clinical protocols and standards of practice
- Support clinic operations to promote efficient, patient-focused workflows
- Perform other duties as assigned to support a well-functioning clinic

Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, and decision-making skills in primary care
- Expertisein chronic disease management and preventive medicine
- Excellent patient communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness of social determinants of health
- Proficiencywith EHR systems and clinical documentation
- Ability to educate and motivate patients toward improved health outcomes
- Problem-solving skills in fast-paced, high-volume clinical settings
- Knowledge of HIPAA, regulatory compliance, and professional standards
- Leadership capability in supervising clinical staff and trainees
Education & Experience
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related field
- Active, unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum of 2–3 years of primary care experience preferred
- Experience in FQHCs or underserved community settings strongly preferred
- Experience managing chronic conditions, preventive care, and acute illnesses
- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical documentation
- Current BLS certificationrequired
Physical Requirements
This role requires:
- Prolonged standing and walking during clinic operations
- Occasional lifting orassistingpatients with mobility needs
- Manual dexterity for procedures, examinations, and documentation
- Ability to bend, reach, and access medical equipment and supplies
- Visual and auditory acuity to assess patients and review medical records
- Stamina to work in a busy clinical environment with potential on-call responsibilities
