NN: Nurse Assistant at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Our Inpatient Oncology Unit is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Assistant to join our patient-centered team. This role is essential in supporting the daily comfort and well-being of our oncology patients. We welcome individuals who are new to healthcare—no previous experience required. We will provide training and ongoing support to help you grow and succeed.

• Provide daily bed baths and assist with personal hygiene for all assigned patients
• Perform vital signs and report findings promptly to the nursing team
• Assist with mobility, comfort measures, and basic patient care tasks
• Complete basic computer documentation in the electronic health record
• Support a calm, respectful, and healing environment for patients and families
• Work collaboratively with nurses and the broader care team
