• Schedule: Monday - Friday with overtime available

• Project Scope: High-quality kitchen and bath remodels, full home renovations, and custom cabinetry.

The Opportunity You will serve as a vital leader in our residential division, transforming architectural visions into high-end living spaces across the Chicago NW suburbs. This is a career-defining role for a trustworthy craftsman looking to lead significant phases of diverse projects within a stable company that has never had a layoff in 31 years.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Execute precise project layouts by interpreting architectural plans, designs, and technical specifications.

• Manage and complete the installation of custom cabinetry, intricate millwork, and high-end windows and doors.

• Manage and complete framing, drywall, taping, and acoustical ceiling installations to ensure top-tier quality standards.

• Coordinate with the Project Supervisor to manage daily schedules and finalize critical punch list items.

• Mitigate safety hazards on-site by modeling exemplary PPE practices and maintaining a clean work environment.

• Resolve technical construction challenges through innovative thinking and logical decision-making.

• Mentor junior field staff while maintaining a positive attitude and a strong focus on project deadlines.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the residential construction trade.

• Proven expertise in the professional use of carpentry tools and equipment.

• Demonstrated ability to read and execute complex architectural or design project plans.

• Strong leadership skills with a reputation for being reliable, punctual, and highly trustworthy.

• Physical and mental fitness to handle the rigors of 8-10 hour shifts in a field environment.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.

• OSHA 10-hour certification.

• Advanced experience in custom cabinetry installation and high-end residential finish work.
