Position Summary:
The Operations Internship to help the Operations Department with tasks, such as collecting and imputing data in excel spreadsheets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect data and input in excel spreadsheets.
- Manage a time study concerning machine turnover
- Record and report product diameters and lengths
- Working closely with the Manager and/or assigned staff member to complete allocated tasks
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and maintain project deadlines
- Other duties may be assigned on an as-needed basis
Knowledge and Experience:
- Currently enrolled in one of the following curriculums in college: Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Food Industry Management, Operations Management, or other similar undergraduate field.
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish is a Plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, or similar office applications.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work on occasion in temperatures of 40 degrees or less
- Must be able to work 40 hours a week.
- Required to wear general PPE, including bump cap, hairnet, and ear plugs when working on production floor.
Pay Rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.
