We’re looking for a Account Executive – New Business to join our team in Germany. This is a full-time position. You’ll join an awesome team to support our growing customer base.
About the Role
As the Account Executive – New Business, you will play a critical role in driving new customer acquisition and revenue growth for Traser (an Aptean company) across the DACH region.
This position combines customer-facing and strategic responsibilities, driving initiatives that align with company growth objectives and operational excellence.
Success in this role requires a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, connects the dots across complex challenges, and fosters momentum through clear communication and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- New Logo Acquisition – Identify, prospect, and close new logo opportunities within the Traser target market to build sustained revenue growth in DACH.
- Full-Cycle Sales Ownership – Own the end-to-end sales cycle from outreach and discovery through demos, proposals, negotiation, and contract close, maintaining accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting.
- Relationship-Led Market Development – Own the end-to-end sales cycle from outreach and discovery through demos, proposals, negotiation, and contract close, maintaining accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting.
About You
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Industry Background: B2B new-business (new-logo) sales; ideally software or a closely related industry; relationship-driven, network-based sales environments
- Technical Skills: CRM (e.g., Salesforce or equivalent), sales pipeline management and forecasting tools; presentation/demo tooling (e.g., slide decks, web conferencing)
- Core Competencies: Hunter mindset, outbound prospecting, consultative discovery, senior stakeholder engagement, negotiation and contract management, clear communication, disciplined forecasting
- Additional Requirements: German language proficiency; willingness to travel within the DACH region as needed; ability to work autonomously in a remote/hybrid setup
