Clinical Resource Leader - Emergency Department
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the Clinical Resource Leader serves as a key clinical expert and operational leader within the unit. In this role, you’ll help coordinate and elevate patient care delivery, ensuring it is safe, compassionate, and aligned with best practices across all stages of life. You’ll also act as a trusted mentor and resource for nursing and support staff—coaching, developing, and empowering teams to perform at their highest level.
This position blends hands-on clinical leadership with real-time problem-solving, allowing you to make a direct impact on both patient outcomes and team success. Hourly Pay Range: $41.56 - $61.30
Qualifications
Education:
-
Prefer a bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing.
Experience:
-
Must have a minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience relevant to the patient populations and/or scope of practice.

Demonstrated leadership ability is a plus.
Certification/Licensure:
-
Must possess a current, valid AZ RN license, a temporary AZ RN license, or a valid compact RN licensure for the current state of practice.

Must be in good standing with the issuing Board of Nursing.

Requires a BLS card obtained through an American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.

In addition, certification or continuing education may be required based on the area of practice:

ED-Maryvale: Must have ACLS and PALS upon hire or transfer. Must obtain ATCN or TNCC within twelve (12) months and ENPC within twelve (12) months. Must obtain National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within six (6) months of hire or transfer. Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Pediatric Certified Emergency Nurse (PCEN), or Trauma Certified Emergency Nurse (TCRN) is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.

Knowledge of basic computer skills is preferred.

Requires effective communication skills.

The ability to work with culturally diverse people is a must.

Bilingual is preferred.
