Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Tool Maker to support precision machining and tooling operations. This role is responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining tooling, jigs, fixtures, gages, and dies using both conventional and CNC equipment. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in machining, blueprint reading, and working within tight tolerances, ensuring quality, safety, and operational excellence.

As a Tool Maker, You Will:

• Operate precision machining equipment including CNC and manual machines
• Build and repair tooling, fixtures, dies, and gages to exact specifications
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to complete complex machining tasks
• Perform detailed setups and machining operations requiring high accuracy and precision
• Utilize measuring instruments to verify tolerances and product quality
• Modify and create CNC programs to support machining needs
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper operation of equipment and tooling
• Follow all safety, security, and regulatory requirements within a controlled environment
• Participate in safety programs, hazard identification, and continuous improvement efforts
• Support process improvements and provide input on machining and tooling methods

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or minimum 4 years of tool and die experience
• Strong experience with CNC machining, tooling fabrication, and precision measurement
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Knowledge of machining processes, setups, and measuring tools
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive and regulated environment
