Coastal Pipeline Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Loader Operator to join our underground utility construction team. In this role, you will get behind the controls of a John Deere 544 loader to perform essential site tasks, keep our crews moving, and ensure our projects stay on track.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be a vital part of our field operations, ensuring materials are staged and sites are prepared safely and efficiently:

• Precision Operation: Safely and expertly operate a John Deere 544 loader to execute critical site tasks.
• Site Preparation: Assist in daily site prep by grading, leveling ditches, and ensuring proper drainage as directed by supervisors.
• Logistics & Material Handling: Transport and distribute construction materials efficiently to meet project needs, and safely unload delivery trucks at the job sites.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely and communicate effectively with crew members and field supervisors to maintain workflow and complete tasks on schedule.
• Safety & Maintenance: Follow all strict safety protocols and ensure your equipment is inspected, maintained, and operated properly every single day.
• Environmental Adaptability: Work safely and effectively outdoors, acclimating to year-round Florida weather conditions.

What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)

• Experience: Proven, hands-on experience operating a John Deere 544 or similar front-end loader within a utility construction, sitework, or heavy civil setting.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with complex ditch leveling, material transport, and site preparation tasks.
• Mindset & Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and driven by a strong work ethic to maintain site productivity. You must possess a strict commitment to safety and attention to detail while operating heavy machinery.
• Physical Capabilities: The physical ability to work in challenging outdoor conditions, handle manual labor as needed, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: The ability to communicate effectively and collaborate seamlessly with your team members.
