Position Summary
The Senior SEO Manager position is mostly independent and regularly pushes the team forward. Senior SEO Managers, with limited support of the Director or SEO Team Lead:
Develop strategies and tactics that support client goals and drive strong organic marketing performance Build and maintain strong, deep client relationships with day-to-day contacts and senior stakeholders to ensure high client retention and growth Troubleshoot minor to complicated client issues independently and complex issues with support Implement and test new capabilities to enable client growthIn addition, Senior SEO Managers:
Lead junior analysts on certain accounts Train new hires on basic and standard concepts Aid in the training of new hires on basic and standard concepts relating to SEO and GEOIdentify opportunities to integrate AI into existing SEO workflows to improve team-wide efficiency.Provide support for client services deliverables during the sales process for upsells and new businessResponsibilitiesDevelop strategies and tactics that support client goals and drive strong organic marketing performanceBuild and maintain strong, deep client relationships with day-to-day contacts and senior stakeholders to ensure high client retention and growthTroubleshoot minor to complicated client issuesImplement and test new capabilities to enable client growthSupport the Director or Team Leads in the training of new team membersProvide temporary support and contribute to client services deliverables during the business development process for upsells and new businessClient communication and relationships
Develop strong relationships with clients and senior stakeholdersAttend and participate in all meetings/calls with clientsCommunicate effectively with various audiences with occasional supportCreate and present insightful, meaningful, accurate reports and analysis with with support on complex issuesExecute the Workshop Digital client flag process and proactively identify resolutionsGo the extra mile for assigned clients within the scope of the SOWInternal communication and relationships

Identify new opportunities for clients to meet their business goalsIndependently identify opportunities for potential case studies and coordinate with marketing for case study developmentManage beta tests of new services for client setSupport the sales team by assisting with RFPs, presentations, audits, and SOWs Elevate client requests for SOW changes with minimal supportTraining
Regularly identify opportunities to update and expand training contentRegularly develop original technical training content with QARegularly conduct team trainings to help develop team expertiseRead industry blogs, books, whitepapers, and articles to stay current on relevant tactics, updates, and best practicesOccasionally contribute thought leadership content to the Workshop Digital blog and the industryServe as a mentor for junior team membersChannel management
