Job Description
The Community Engagement Coordinator has internal and external responsibilities, including annual programming, volunteer work, and community relations management.
Duties/Responsibilities:
•Takes lead on multiple cyclical projects throughout the year as assigned. •Builds relationships with Community and referral agencies. •Promotes collaborations with local recovery community groups and identifies needs and concerns. •Responsible for providing coordination and support of UKSC volunteer related activities. •Responsibilities include recruitment, selection, onboarding, ongoing compliance, support and recognition of volunteers. •Maintains effective communication and working relationships with hospital/clinic employees and the community to maximize utilization of volunteers and promote volunteer programs. •
Education:
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing/PR, Communications, or related field experience required
Experience:
One year experience with fundraising, event planning, or marketing required
