Gelatia/Barista Supervisor at Amorino Gelato – Tampa, Florida

Job Summary

This position contributes to Amorino Gelato's success by providing excellent service to all customers. This job assists us in creating the ‘Amorino Experience' for our customers by providing consistent high quality service in beverages and desserts, while maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

• Show integrity and honesty to promote the culture and values of Amorino.
• Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume.
• Constantly evaluate the store's environment and customer's needs.
• Deliver excellent service with a “customer comes first” attitude.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Reinforce team goals through existing organizational methods.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality at work.
• Promote a positive attitude toward customers and team members.
• Lead the team to success during busy hours
• Answer any questions the team may have
• Support the manager in implementing the Amorino processes
• Be able to handle customer complaints
• Be able to train new hires

Experience

• Experience preferred, but not required
• We will provide training, encouragement, and supervision to all new servers
• Uniforms supplied to all team members

Basic Qualifications

• Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
• Maintain high energy, a strong work ethic, punctuality, and consistent attendance.
• Available to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Meet store operating policies and standards that include providing quality beverages, desserts, and handling of cash.
• Available to perform many different tasks during each shift.
• Be a fast learner, build relationships, and pleasantly engage customers.

Pay Rate: Starting $15.00/hour

• $10.00/hour + $4-$6 tips/hour
• Part-time/Full time work
