Position Information
Under the general direction of the Chief Medical Officer, and in collaboration with the Executive Director of Holistic Health Operations, this position provides overall leadership for medical practice and delivery of clinical services to help University of California Riverside (UCR) students resolve or manage health related concerns so they can attain their academic and broad educational goals. Provides high-quality, cost-effective, accessible primary care, specialty care, ancillary medical, pharmaceutical, and health education services for graduate and undergraduate students to support the mission of the Health, Wellbeing & Safety organization and the University of California Riverside and the University of California system.The full salary range for the Associate Chief Medical Officer is $182,100 - $373,900 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $305,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. The work schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. However, depending on future business needs, it may adjust to a 4/10 schedule. PreferredExperience providing services to individuals within the LGBTQ+ community, including but not limited to transgender individuals including hormone replacement therapy. Position must be able to establish priorities for unit, and provide direction and guidance to medical and clinical staff members. Requires knowledge of electronic/medical records systems. Must be computer literate. For positions associated with Sports Medicine, must maintain current knowledge of applicable rules and standards of the Conference, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), as well as other associations and agencies to which the University of California adheres, and, at all times avoid any and all violations of these rules and standards. Position requires skills associated with the practice medicine and management of health services. Requires highly effective problem solving, and decision making skills. Must be able to establish goals and objectives for the Medical and Health Promotion organizations. Position must have knowledge of the fiscal/budget processes of the campus.
