About This Position
Team Member - Part time Monday-Friday 10:30am-4pm
Location: Don Juan Mex Grill - Lafayette College
Downtown Easton, PA
Role Summary:
Promote an environment of excellence and create Raving Fans of Don Juan Mex Grill by going above and beyond customer expectations and creating positive emotional connections to the Don Juan Mex Grill restaurant and branding.
Position Type and Pay Range:
Part-Time 10:30am-4:00pm
$15 plus tips.

Requirements:
Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
Must be at least 18 or older to apply as must be able to serve Alcohol.
Understand the expectation of Don Juan Mex Grill customer service standards and operational excellence
Able to lift to 40lbs occasionally and stand for up to 8 hours
General Responsibilities (Must meet availability requirements):
Read, understand, and comply with all parts of the Team Member Handbook.
Show up on time, have a great attitude, and work hard for your entire shift.
Deliver portions that are correct and meet presentation expectations.
Execute FIFO (First In, First Out) model for food inventory to assure freshness and quality.
Protect the customer experience by ensuring packaging, food presentation, and quality are top-level.
Appropriately handle all customer issues and play a positive role in customer recovery.
Constantly improve yourself by finding ways to do your work better and faster.
Proactively look for opportunities to be cross-trained.
Be responsible to fill your shift if you are not able work.
Ensure appearance complies with the Team Member Handbook.
Be a team player.
Display good stewardship and a sense of ownership for the business.
Responsibilities:
Must be comfortable using a cash register and operate the POS system at the front counter.
Take orders with speed and accuracy.
Check for product quality and consistency
Positive and serving attitude with a warm personality
Look for opportunities to stock or clean when not serving a customer
Assist leadership in executing opening or closing procedures
Willing to assist in other stations
Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
Complete all tasks assigned beyond the job description, if necessary
