As a primary point of contact, and important part of the team that generates tips shared with all hourly employees, the Table Busser engages customers when they enter the building, while they are enjoying their meal, and after they have finished. While we are not a full service restaurant, and you will not be delivering meals, you will play an important role in guest satisfaction. Bussers will offer drink refills, takeout containers, and anything else requested by guests. When guests leave, Table Bussers will clean tables as quickly and efficiently as possible. Remove soiled dishware and flatware and deliver it to the washing area. Clean and polish counters and furniture and mop and sweep floors. Clean up spilled food and ensure that floors and counter surfaces are sanitized. Ensure supplies are stocked in the customer condiment service area. Keep an eye out for customers looking for service and assist them with their queries. Make sure that the restaurant area is clean at all times. Stock cabinets and serving areas with service items. Obtain the Food Handler Card required by the County.
