Position Summary:

Responsible for the supervision of the staff members assigned to the shift or specialty team and for the successful operational and administrative functions of the shift

Utilizes the nursing process to assure care is provided to the assigned patient population in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members

Serves as a resource and assures care is provided in a compassionate, ethical, and knowledgeable fashion, is based on the Caring Model and exemplifies the mission, vision and values of Rush Copley and in accordance with policies and procedures

Assures the highest degree of quality care is followed at all times keeping the care and safety of the assigned patient population as a top priority

Position Requirements:
-
Current IL RN Licensure
-
American Heart Association CPR and BLS required.

Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience required.

CNOR certification strongly preferred
-
BSN degree, if not already obtained, required within 5 years of hire.

Ability to take assigned call shifts with 30-minure response time
-
Supervisory experience preferred with a high level of team skills necessary for planning, organizing, problem-solving and decision-making, with a belief in the team concept
