At Always Keep Progressing, LLC (AKP), we are driven by a mission to provide exceptional, client-centered care through collaborative and innovative therapy services. Based in South Florida, AKP operates two multidisciplinary clinic locations and offers both in-clinic and teletherapy sessions. Our team of over 30 professionals includes Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Music Therapists, and Art Therapists, all working together to deliver comprehensive support to our pediatric clients and their families.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and creative Music Therapist to join our team in North Miami, FL. This is a full-time, employee position working with a pediatric caseload in our clinic setting. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in music therapy, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and is excited about contributing to a holistic approach to child development.

You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with other therapists across disciplines and be part of a team that values innovation, flexibility, and professional growth.

• Deliver individual and group music therapy sessions to pediatric clients with a variety of needs and diagnoses.
• Use evidence-based techniques to address social, emotional, cognitive, and motor goals through music interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (SLPs, OTs, Art Therapists) to support whole-child development.
• Document assessments, treatment plans, and session progress in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate with families to provide updates, support, and carryover strategies.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and community events.
• Utilize clinic-provided musical instruments and therapy resources.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Therapy.
• Certification by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (MT-BC) (required).
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Reliable transportation and access to a computer.
• Clean background check.
