Journeyman Electrician - Commercial Service (Licensed) at Mako Oilfield Services LLC – Sugar Land, Texas

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Service Electrician to perform service calls at commercial properties. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in a variety of commercial settings, including offices, retail spaces, warehouses, and other facilities. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in commercial environments.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems including lighting, panels, circuits, outlets, and wiring.
• Perform inspections and ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues, solutions, and estimates.
• Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good condition.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with dispatch, office staff, and other technicians to ensure customer satisfaction.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state Journeyman Electrician License (as required by local jurisdiction).
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in commercial electrical service.
• Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and local codes.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
