About This Position

Confidential company is hiring a Marketing Coordinator and a Bid-Proposal Writer for their team. He/She will work as part of a collaborative team to generate leads, support the sales process, and provide creative and communications support throughout the organization. He/ She will manage the company's bid proposal, bid submissions, pricing proposals, and RFP response process, edit, proof, and format corporate communications, support creative development of presentations, documents, and creative assets, and develop blog content that will help drive organic internet traffic and improve SEO.

Job Description
In your role as Marketing Coordinator, you will:

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with sales and marketing teams to fully understand product and communication needs
  • Manage bid proposals bid submissions and RFP responses. Manages pricing proposals
  • Supports and manages logistics related to trade shows
  • Support corporate communication by working with senior leadership, Human Resources, Care Center, and other departmental managers to draft and edit communications that may include company announcements, call center representative scripts, broad distribution emails, letter to customers, crisis communication (e.g., product recalls), and others
  • Develop creative assets for presentations, proposals, packaging, website, and other applications that are consistent with branding guidelines and our brand story
  • Presents design ideas and recommendations to marketing managers and sales team
  • Drafts and proposes communications campaigns, which may include social and online media, print media, direct mail, and other multimedia
  • Composes drafts and edits presentations for senior management and the sales team
  • Manages ad hoc marketing projects
  • Collaborates and participates in promotional activities as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, English, Communications or related field is preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, health insurance, restaurants, or food production is preferred
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of marketing principles and methods used to promote, display, and sell products and services
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills as well as attention to detail
  • Time management is a must as well as the ability to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to work with a team and share responsibility for multiple projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suites software

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position, primarily seated at a desk, for extended periods of time.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other standard office equipment such as a keyboard, mouse, copier, and telephone.
  • Must have the visual acuity to read and analyze written and digital materials, including reports, emails, and marketing collateral.
  • Frequently communicates with team members, vendors, and clients; must be able to exchange information clearly and effectively in person, by phone, and through digital communication platforms.
  • Occasionally moves about the office to attend meetings, access supplies, or collaborate with colleagues.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move items such as printed materials, promotional items, or office supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Must possess fine motor skills to perform tasks that require manual dexterity, such as note-taking, using digital tools, or preparing marketing kits.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment with frequent deadlines and interruptions.
