About the role

• The Warehouse Worker I will support daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and general maintenance of the facility. This part-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy, teamwork, and safety.

What you'll do

• Shipping & Receiving: Assist with receiving, unloading, inspecting, and organizing incoming shipments of cigars and tobacco leaf products.
• Order Fulfillment: Accurately prepare, pick, and pack customer orders for shipment in a timely manner.
• Inventory Management: Perform routine inventory checks, stock replenishment, and notify supervisors of discrepancies or low stock levels.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment by following established housekeeping standards.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse team and supervisors to meet operational goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving role is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs.; must be comfortable standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in completing tasks.
• Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and motivated to contribute to team success.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings if needed.
• Technology: Basic familiarity with warehouse equipment and inventory management systems is a plus.
