Salary/Pay Rate: $40.00 - $50.00+ / hr (Based on experience).
Location: Minot, ND and surrounding areas (Winter opportunities in Texas).
Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, some Saturdays; Overtime during peak season.
Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver's License.
The Opportunity You will serve as a pivotal field leader, overseeing the daily operations of complex commercial, industrial, and agricultural concrete projects across North Dakota. This role offers the unique chance to drive innovation in specialty flatwork while mentoring a diverse crew in a supportive, family-like environment. You will have the autonomy to manage large-scale pours and the stability of year-round project opportunities.
How You Will Make an Impact
Direct and coordinate daily field activities for commercial, industrial, and agricultural concrete installations to ensure project excellence.
Supervise and motivate a diverse team of concrete professionals, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently and safely.
Enforce rigorous safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections to minimize risk and maintain a secure working environment.
Interpret complex blueprints and project specifications to ensure all placement and finishing meets high-quality standards.
Manage the effective use of tools, heavy equipment, and materials to maintain strict project timelines and budgets.
Maintain accurate daily documentation of work progress, labor hours, and material usage for transparent project reporting.
Provide hands-on training and mentorship to crew members to foster professional growth and skill development.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience as a Concrete Foreman or in a supervisory construction role.
Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.
Extensive technical knowledge of concrete placement, finishing techniques, and equipment operation.
Proven ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints, construction plans, and technical specifications.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to various job sites.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Demonstrated experience managing large-scale industrial flatwork or specialty architectural concrete.
Strong interpersonal skills with a history of successfully collaborating with project managers and clients.
Advanced problem-solving abilities tailored to real-time logistical obstacles on active job sites.
