TEAM MEMBER OVERVIEW:

Bruegger's Bagels is hiring immediately for Team Members! Our Team Members are the first people that our guests see when they arrive at our fast food restaurants/bakeries! This role greets guests, takes orders and payments, prepares and delivers amazing coffee, bagels and other food products!

Team Member Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Welcomes Guests into the fast food restaurant/bakery
• Greets Guests with a smile while receiving orders and processing payments as a cashier
• Takes all customers orders clearly and communicates with other staff when needed
• Prepare and package all fast food orders promptly according to recipe guidelines and standards
• Demonstrate knowledge of brand and menu items
• Check food quality and food temperature throughout the day to ensure the fast food is fresh and safe to serve
• Takes Guest orders and processes payment as a Cashier, using the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Manages cash drawer and follows all cash handling policies and procedures
• Floats between counter, guest service or wherever help is needed
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant, including the dining room, restroom and exterior
• Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts

Team Member Qualification and Skills:

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment in the fast food industry
• Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with Guests and Team Members
• Willingness to learn all areas of fast food restaurant operations & work multiple stations
• Available to work early mornings, weekends and holidays
• Food Handlers Certification Preferred

Team Member Physical Demands:

• Mobility required during the entire shift
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 15 pounds of force constantly to move objects
