The Medical Assistant plays a key role in supporting our providers with patient care, treatment preparation, documentation, and safety protocols. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced aesthetic environment and enjoys delivering high-quality, personalized patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in med spa settings and possess excellent communication skills to foster positive patient interactions and streamline processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and room patients, verify appointment details, and ensure comfort
- Take and document medical history, consent forms, and treatment notes (HIPAA compliant)
- Assist providers during injections, laser procedures, and skincare treatments (within scope)
- Prepare, clean, and restock treatment rooms and instruments
- Capture before/after photos and maintain proper photo documentation
- Assist front desk team with scheduling, payments, and patient communication as needed
- Help manage clinical inventory, including injectables and skincare stock
- Receive, unpack, and organize shipments
- Maintain safety, sterilization, OSHA, and HIPAA standards
- Educate patients on post-care instructions and treatment expectations
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in medical spa — preferred
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and remain accurate in a busy clinical environment
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented work style
- EMR experience strongly preferred
- CPR certification (or obtained within 60 days of hire)
