RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must be able to plan, organize, and manage all yard activities, including loading, unloading, storage, and dispatch of materials or equipment.
• Must be able to handle incoming/outgoing freight
• Must monitor workflow to ensure timely movement of goods or equipment.
• Must oversee inventory levels; conduct regular audits and ensure accurate stock records.
• Must schedule routine maintenance and inspections for equipment, tools, and vehicles.
• Must ensure all OSHA, company, and industry-specific safety guidelines.
• Must maintain documentation for safety inspections, incident reports, and compliance activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 4+ years of experience as a Yard Manager
• Must be able to drive and work around heavy equipment/forklifts/cranes/trucks etc
• Must be proficient in using computers, Microsoft office
