Veterinary Technician - Assistant (Mid-Cities) at Archer Blackmon Management LLC – Euless, Texas

Mid-Cities Animal Urgent Care is currently looking to add an experienced Veterinary Technician Assistant to our amazing team!

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining the cleanliness of the hospital
• Wrapping and sterilizing surgical equipment and instruments
• Assisting the veterinary technician to complete treatments as needed
• Canine and feline restraint
• Performing in-house diagnostics
• Preparing medications
• Some clerical work may be required.

A successful, long term candidate will need to:

• Have 1+years of veterinary experience.
• Be able to handle the pace and unpredictability of an Urgent Care practice
• Be a champion multitasker
• Have a flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Spanish-speaking preferred but not required

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Veterinary Technicians: 1 year (Required)
• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Required)
