Field Technician at Ninyo & Moore – Las Vegas, Nevada

Job Description: Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company, has immediate openings for a construction materials testing Field Technician in Las Vegas, Nevada. Experience in construction inspection, soils and materials testing, and appropriate field certification is a plus. The successful candidate will have knowledge regarding the standard test methods for field density testing of soil utility backfill, mass grading, paving subgrade, proof-rolling observation experience, as well as field concrete sampling and testing.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have soils field testing experience and a current radiation user safety certificate. Experience with field testing of concrete with current ACI Field Tech I and/or NAQTC certifications in sampling and density, aggregates, asphalt required.

Required Skills: Candidate should have excellent mathematical, verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. Must have a current valid driver's license.
