What you can expect as a Home Checkup Manager:
- Operational Management
• Lead daily Home Checkup inspection review operations, ensuring consistent execution across workflows.Creates training content for risk exposures and new products found in the inspection process
• Monitor order levels, backlog trends, and turnaround times to maintain service level expectations.
• Allocate work and prioritize queues based on business needs, effective dates, and risk exposure.
• Ensure inspection alerts are processed in accordance with underwriting guidelines and internal procedures.
People Leadership
• Directly manage, coach, and develop Home Checkup analysts.
• Conduct regular performance check‑ins, feedback sessions, and formal evaluations.
• Support onboarding, training completion, and ongoing skill development.
• Promote accountability, engagement, and adherence to departmental standards.
Performance and Quality Oversight
• Establish, monitor, and report on productivity and performance metrics.
• Partner with QA and Training teams to address trends, rework, and coaching needs.
Workflow and Process Oversight
• Oversee inspection alert intake, prioritization, and progression through systems.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies, risks, or bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
• Support system changes, automation efforts, and process enhancements.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
• Serve as a primary point of contact between Home Checkup and Underwriting leadership.
• Collaborate with IT, Product, QA, Training, and Vendor partners as needed.
• Communicate operational impacts related to system issues, volume changes, or process updates.
• Support enterprise initiatives impacting inspection processing.
Reporting and Communication
• Prepare and deliver operational reports to leadership.
• Communicate priorities, expectations, and changes clearly to the team.
• Escalate risks or issues with appropriate context and recommendations.
• Maintain transparent and professional communication with stakeholders.
Risk and Compliance
• Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation and processes.Other duties may be assigned.
What we are looking for as a Home Checkup Manager :
Construction, insurance or related industry related experience is highly preferred. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); additionally, any undergraduate education desirable, or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
